Information you give us
Most Kitvora tools do not ask you to create an account. The social video downloader does. If you sign in, the auth provider stores your email, and the downloads table stores the link, platform, title, quality, file type, and time for that account. If you email support@example.com, we receive whatever you include in that message and use it only to reply. That address is a placeholder until the official contact email is chosen.
Files and tool data
Many Kitvora tools are planned to process files locally in your browser. Those files would stay on your device.
Not every tool will work that way. A tool that needs a server will say so on its own page before you use it. Do not assume a tool is private until that page says how it works. Pages marked coming soon do not upload or process files.
The social video downloader sends the public link you submit to a separate download server. The video file is deleted after the transfer finishes or if the transfer fails.
Theme preference
If you choose a light, dark, or system theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to a server and it is not used for advertising.
Advertising
Kitvora does not show advertisements today. The layout can hold an ad unit later. If advertising is added, this policy will be updated first.
